Suspensión 80 + 400 mg/ 5mL: hipersensibilidad a los componentes, recién nacidos o menores de dos años, embarazo, insuficiencia hepática y/o renal. Adminístrese con precaución en pacientes con discrasias sanguíneas. La presencia de metilparabeno puede causar reacciones alérgicas (posiblemente retardadas). El medicamento contiene sorbitol por lo que no es adecuado en pacientes con intolerancia a la fructosa.
Suspensión 40+ 200 mg: está contraindicado en pacientes con un daño importante del parénquima hepático. También está contraindicado en pacientes con insuficiencia renal grave cuando no puedan monitorizarse los valores plasmáticos. No debe utilizarse en caso de hipersensibilidad a alguno de sus principios activos o excipientes. No debe administrarse a lactantes durante las primeras 6 semanas de vida. Debe evitarse la combinación de Trimetoprim Sulfa y Dofetilida.
