Hipersensibilidad a la Paroxetina, embarazo, lactancia, menores de 18 años de edad, enfermedad hepática y renal. Uso concomitante con inhibidores de la MAO (monoamino oxidasa) o por lo menos 14 días después de su retiro, pacientes que reciben concomitantemente litio. Pacientes que requieran ánimo vigilante. No ingerir bebidas alcohólicas.
